Stare at the above painting, Turkey Pond, by Andrew Wyeth, for 60 seconds. Then write about it. What does it make you think of? How does it make you feel? How did you react to it on a mental level? A spiritual level? A physical level?
Attention all students who have me for more than one class!
First of all, congratulations! You are one lucky student!
Second of all, you are responsible for more blog entries than those people who only have me for one class. So, that means you are responsible for coming up with some of your own ideas. Here are some extra ideas to keep you moving along ...
* Share your favorite song lyrics, or embed a song or video into your blog entry. Explain why the song matters. * Write about a recent episode of a TV show that you watch regularly. * Write about a book you're reading. * Write about a movie you recently saw. * Write a poem. * Write about something that's going on in the world right now that irritates you. (It can be something that's happening in Haiti, or in Moscow.) * Write about something that makes you happy!
